Frequently Asked Questions

A Hackintosh is a PC computer made up of specially chosen parts, which can run Apple’s OSX  operating system.

Setting them up is tricky, but there are many, many resources dedicated to building and setting up Hackintoshes.

These can be an overload of information for many non techies, which is why I decided to create this website. It will share shopping lists for high spec Hackintoshes, tailored towards three different types of creative user.

From time to time, I offer refurbished Hackintoshes, which are far cheaper that an a new model. They are the best way to have a high spec Hackintosh for less than a 1000 euro. Sign up to my mailing list, and check back on this site for the latest offers.

Between 1000 to 2000 Euro, depending on the specifications.

You will also need to budget for a monitor, mouse and keyboard, speakers and cables, depending on your set up needs.

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

No. Hackintosh Berlin supports Open Source software whenever possible, and purchased software when not.
